If you are looking to train personnel to work in the probate department then we have a number of courses to choose from, depending on the current level of knowledge of the prospective student.
This area of legal practice benefits from two of the new legal apprenticeships:
The government will pay for training of young people aged under 19 at the time of registration, and up to 50% of the training costs of young people aged under 23. Workplace skills are delivered alongside technical legal knowledge. Current employees can be eligible, depending on their previous education and experience.
Supported distance learning courses
For those employees who are not eligible for legal apprenticeship funding, courses are shown in the table below: Level 2 is equivalent to GCSE level; Level 3 is equivalent to A level; Level 6 is equivalent to honours-degree level for law courses or LPC-level for legal practice courses.
All courses are delivered by supported distance learning. Follow the links to find out more about the courses including course duration, number of anticipated study hours and the materials, online resources and support available.
Fees and timings
Course fees quoted are for the academic year 2016-17. For CILEx Level 3 and Level 6 courses there are also CILEx membership and exam fees.
