    Advanced Business Administration Apprenticeship in Leeds
    Salary: Between £7,000 and £9,500 per annum dependent upon age and qualifications.
    Minimum requirements: 8 GCSEs grades A* to C or equivalent are essential, specifically Maths and English. A-Levels or equivalent are desirable.

    A unique opportunity has arisen working as an apprentice with a leading barristers chambers in Leeds, 39 Park Square. The role will involve the successful candidate being trained to assist the Barristers’ Clerks in Chambers.
    The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate confidence, professionalism and a wish to work in the legal environment. This role involves organising barrister’s diaries, negotiating fees for work from solicitors, allocating cases to barristers, organising fee collection and liaising with the courts with regard to case listings.

    Do you have an interest in Human Rights? If so, we have a unique opportunity working with BRAR Solicitors in Newcastle. This is a junior administrative role within the firm working with a Director in a small but exceptionally busy law firm primarily carrying out Human Rights and Immigration work. You will be trained and involved in all aspects of administration across the firm including audio typing, a sought after skill in the legal profession. The ideal candidate must have sound communication skills and the patience and understanding to work and support clients whose first language is not English. Apart from the day-to-day administration, the ideal candidate will learn how legal cases are managed on a daily basis and carve out niche areas of practice within the firm, such as running the social media accounts. The right candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to work with a wide range of clients and professionals and the desire to learn from the ‘bottom up’.
