CILEx Law School students honoured at CILEx Graduation and Fellowship Admission ceremonies
Congratulations to all of our students whose achievements were officially recognised at the CILEx Graduation and Fellowship Admission event on Saturday 13th October.
There were three events, held at Jurys Inn, in central Milton Keynes, with 276 Graduates and Fellows presented with their scrolls on stage by CILEx President Philip Sherwood (FCILEx) and Vice-President Matthew Foster (FCILEx).
Congratulating them, Mr Sherwood said: “For you to get here today is no small feat. You have worked your socks off and you have the right to feel very proud.”
CILEx Chief Executive Linda Ford added: “Today is not the end of your journey, but the beginning. This is an exciting time for you to be working in the law. The legal world is changing, and you have the chance to help shape it.”
CILEx Law School Managing Director Noel Inge said: “Many congratulations to all of our Graduates and Fellows on accomplishing their goals. They are proof that whatever your background, the hours of study and hard work can really change your life.”
Graduate Simon Rowe emphasised how much studying with CILEx Law School has helped him.
He said: “I left school with GCSEs and that was kind of it. I thought I would just be going from one mediocre job to the next. This was a real second chance – one that I didn’t think was available. Now that I am here – and I love practising the law – my career intentions are to apply for Fellowship and practise a Chartered Legal Executive. I’m happy!”
